- 3 September 2008
- Due to some casting changes, I get to sing the duet “By My Side” in Godspell! It is an eerily beautiful song, I love it and I’m pumped!
- 29-31 August 2008

- I got a role in The Bridge Players Theatre production of Godspell! I’ll be singing “Learn Your Lessons Well.” The show is an unusual piece in that the script is extremely flexible, and so the director has lots of creative freedom. It’s going to be fun =)
- 4th of July weekend 2008
- I went to see my brother and took him to Phillips, a well-known seafood chain in Maryland. He eats like a horse. And he was thrilled with the buffet. They should give him a supersized pail for all the snow crab he can eat.
- 19 - 28 June 2008
- Final Respects runs at the Burlington County Footlighters! I play Verna, a crazy Japanese woman who provides comic relief amid the drama. There’s a picture of us in the Inquirer!

- A few seasons ago, I played soccer with a rec league. I stopped playing to do other things, but a few weeks ago the team needed another girl, so I started subbing for them. Today, we placed second after two games, a round of OT, and PK’s, ending the day in a warm rain.
- 30 May 2008
- Working under GiantSky, I finished up developing the site for the Simeone Foundation Museum, which houses a collection of historic racecars. I’ve never been there, but they look really cool! Plus, the site has a content management system (CMS), which enables the client to update site content without knowledge of programming languages. Kick ass!
- 23 May 2008

site updates log
Changes to the site will be posted here.
- 10 November 2008
- In my debut as a videographer, I created a video montage of Prescott saving the puck. I figured I might as well make a page just for him, too. Enough about him, though. I added some photos of YAGMCB rehearsal!
- 21 October 2008
- Prescott decided to play hockey again this fall after a hiatus of over four years. I went to his first game and took some photos.
- 20 October 2008
- Hooray for photos of Godspell!
- 20 October 2008
- Hooray for videos of my songs in Godspell!
- 19 October 2008
- Inspired by Facebook, I added an RSS feed of my blog and created a separate version from which Facebook imports my entries as Notes. I didn't want Facebook to pull all the past entries, just the ones from here on out.
- 14 October 2008
- I decided to add a Google ads banner to the right, as well as a “donate” button on the auditions page. I want to learn more about e-commerce, so where better than right here in my web lab =)
- 7 October 2008
- Here are some photos from the many birthdays over the last few weeks =) I also updated links in old blog entries (that are now defunct with my current structure) and added some links and lists to ease blog navigation. Each category page now displays a list of all its entries.
- 27 September 2008
- In light of the massive amounts of guestbook spam I receive, I added pagination to the guestbook spam log. I calculated that I receive, on average, 34 spam attempts per day. Fortunately, they haven’t really been a problem since I implemented tighter controls :)
- 19 September 2008
- I added a quote about acting in slow motion :) I also enabled pause/advance on the rotating quotes.
- 27 July 2008
- I added a background to About and created landing pages for Musical Theatre and The Web. Since I’ve been using the blog more frequently lately, I created an archive that uses Ajax (whew!) to populate the page.
- 25 July 2008
- In addition to adding some photos (really screen grabs) of Final Respects, I’ve been working on the blog, automating html quotation marks and displaying source code. I also updated The Web Resources.
- 15 July 2008
- Tons of stuff done, as you can read in my blog. Added an interface for authorized users to upload to my server. Added some dynamic JQuery cycles in Quotes and Home. Added icons in the blog; not sure how they’ll be used yet but for now they’re just fun. I also did some troubleshooting around MySQL escape and security against injection. Finally, I added some video clips of Final Respects.
- 9 July 2008
- I added all the photos in the Yale section and Family section. FINALLY finished migrating everything from the old site!
- 8 July 2008
- I’ve been tinkering around a bit more lately, especially with database-related stuff. I revised my blog, refined guestbook spam detection, and added some password-protected pages…Not that I have really important stuff behind the password, I’m just experimenting to learn more about how that sort of encryption works.
- 13 June 2008
- I uploaded a few pictures from my trip to Berkeley, and I’m trying to decide between the slideshow and the lightbox displays. For the lightbox, the thumbnails take a lil while to load because they’re not really thumbnails — I cheated with the large files
- 10 May 2008
- I added some videos of my little brother playing baseball
- 15 March 2008
- I added a few functions to the auditions database:
- a button to send an email with a link to the page to whomever you’d like, and
- a form to sign up for email alerts whenever new auditions are added.
- 27 February 2008
- In an ambitious venture for a Wednesday night at 8pm, I decided to create a database of all the area’s musical theatre auditions I could find online. I also added a CSS section to the Web Help page and fixed some header issues in IE6 with the Holly hack. Meanwhile, I’d like to issue a PSA to the IE people of the world: Download Firefox and you’ll never go back. (Although I must admit, IE7 is pretty decent.)
- 2 February 2008
- I redesigned some headers and added photos for Penn MS2. I’m perty webbed out after pulling three 12- to 14-hour days in a row at work, helping to put up the new C2 Education website.
- 27 January 2008
- I thought it would be a fun challenge to build my own blog from scratch, so here it is. This MySQL stuff is nuts! I also added a custom error (404 - Not Found) page and a Sitemap.
- 25 January 2008
- Everything in the beta stage has been migrated to the top level! Now I just need to get those pictures and videos from the old site, and we can say PEACE! (As Prescott says.) I also edited the image clearings on the Home and Guestbook pages, and I added a favicon (the little “a” that should be appearing to the left of the URL in your browser navbar).
- 24 January 2008
- I tweaked the opening flash sequence a little bit. The graphics are still large for a low-res monitor...I forgot that my monitor is high-res and displays things on the smaller side. I also added that Web Help page.
- 21 January 2008
- After having pondered and scrutinized php variables all day, I finally got my guestbook database to a satisfactory stopping point: I can send and retrieve data, and it’s guarded against hijackers. i think i should start a “web stuff” page, if only to keep a log of what’s helped me along.
- 20 January 2008
- Oh, the things you can do with Photoshop
- 13 January 2008
- added a collection of slideshow photo albums
